Do you know the secret to making a paper airplane fly longer or farther? In this exciting Adventure, Wolf Club Scouts will discover the science of flight while having a blast building and testing their own aircraft.
From folding techniques to aerodynamic testing, scouts will explore how different shapes and folds change how things fly.
What Scouts Will Do:
•Build Multiple Paper Airplanes: Learn different folding styles and designs to see which ones work best.
•Test the Airplanes: Put those creations to the test and see how tweaks can improve distance and hangtime.
•Participate in a Paper Airplane Derby: Compete in a fun, friendly derby to see whose plane flies the highest, farthest, or stays in the air the longer.
•Build a Balsa Wood Glider: Take engineering skills to the next level by constructing a real balsa wood glider from scratch.
